Commissioning a Bespoke Piece of Fine Furniture.
I’d love to work with you to create a thoughtful, well-crafted piece of furniture that reflects you. Here’s how the process works:
-
Every commission starts with a conversation. Whether you have a clear idea or just a rough sense of what you need, we’ll discuss materials, design, and how the piece will fit into your space.
Consider that timing for bespoke furniture can weeks or months as we discuss ideas and find a spot to schedule the making of your piece.
-
Once we’ve outlined your piece, I’ll provide an initial sketch—free of charge. From there, we move into design development with a non-refundable design fee (10% of the final cost) to cover design time, detailed drawings and refinements.
A price guide is below to help set expectations—these are starting points for illustration only, as prices vary depending on wood choice and complexity. These prices do not include delivery.
Starting prices:
Small bench – from £390
Side table – from £550
Coffee table – from £650
Lounge chair – from £950
Dining table – from £1,900
Chest of drawers or Sideboard – from £2,500
-
With the technical drawings and design approved, I require a non-refundable deposit (50% of final cost) to begin making your piece. This deposit secures your spot on the pipeline—at this point I give you an estimated completion date.
The final balance is due before delivery. I’ll keep you updated along the way or you can visit the workshop by appointment to see the process.
